I started to work with SNGS in May, 2007 as a Travel Coordinator. At the moment when I came to the company SNGS was only half year old. I was lucky to take part in the company establishment process which gave me the invaluable experience.
SNGS team is relatively young, but at the same time the typical features of all the employees are: high professionalism, organized nature and team integration in mutual activities, respectful attitude and advertence not only to each other but also to the business partners, and, first of all, to a client.
In force-majeure situations SNGS team promptly responds, because it always knows what and how should be done in the first place to avoid any problems and difficulties.
During my work in SNGS I met a lot of interesting and experienced people from different countries, work and communication with them gave me a lot, both for my professional and personal development.
I am happy to work in SNGS team today and tomorrow… Because such companies as SNGS are the things of the future!

My name is Nataly Tarasenko, I’m a Training Specialist of Sakhalinneftegasservice, LLC. I want to tell you about my work in the Company.
“To send people to fight a battle without first instructing them, is similar to betraying them.” - Confucius said. During out dynamic age, when everything around changes quickly, it is necessary to use a lot of effort and time in order to respond to all demands of the surrounding world. The same relates to the production – adoption of new technologies, modern equipment and tools. SNGS understands all these requirements and seeks for the most effective methods to comply with them, first of all by means of comprehensive personnel training program.
|
Each new worker, when employed, is being evaluated and the individual training plan (ITP) is being developed taking into account demands to the discipline, working conditions and RF legislation. SNGS has its internal committee for testing labor safety, industrial and electric safety knowledge. Besides that each employee, upon arrival to the site, is being trained for confined space, working at height, emergency situations with practical training at the site.
Our company works in a very close relation with SEIC Training Department. With their help out technical personnel is being trained on the system of ISSOW work permit issuing and working with SAP system. Due to the fact that company facilities are located near the sea, company employees get “cold water” training to be able to work offshore. To increase the professional level personnel is being trained by equipment vendors, such as ABB, General Electric, Hitachi, Siemens, Fluke, Yokogawa and others.
On the annual basis the company carries out personnel evaluation for competence, based on the result the additional training is being organized. All data are kept in CORA database.
The company top priority – safety at all areas of work, and the training is one of the major means to support it!

By Lyubov Ko, Procurement/Contract Admin Assistant
Originally I'm from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. My dream was to enter one of hard science faculties but unfortunately my average score didn't allow me to do that so there were no any other options as only to admit the Faculty of Economics and Management New Technologies and Materials Department.

But as I was surrounded by people who are interested in World Economics, world problem regulations, the UN structure, problems of globalization and world starvation and by this movement I began to think about entering into the UN structure. Thoughts were about to help people of Africa. But as it always happens everything has changed recently. I think that it has happened because of my professor. He is a fan of the Globalization theme and Asia Pacific region's development. Nowadays it's the most dynamic region and a grand part of the global market. This region is a good synthesis of West and East traditions which gives a great impact to global development. And I think that the Sakhalin region is a good example of this liaison. That was the reason I came back on Sakhalin. And just by the coincidence, I became part of SNGS.
Besides the work I'm fond of badminton and reading European and Latin American authors. I also like backpack travelling.
Well I am not of those people who defines target and move to it and achieve it by any means. I am one of those, who is always in search and in new discoveries.
